Nostalgia Fuel Altered Qualifying Notes, Final Session
By Larry Sullivan

EDMONTON, Alb. - Notes from final, round 1 qualifying in Nostalgia Fuel Altered at the 2012 Nitro Jam Series, 10th annual Mopar Rocky Mountain Nitro Jam Nationals Day One listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:
Left Lane: Ron Hope Runs 6.900/209.49, Now #1
Right Lane: Randy Bradford Runs 7.466/192.11, Now #2

10:28 p.m. This is not really 'qualifying," but they won't be back for another round tonight. It's a "bonus run" for the Friday crowd.

Two good runs, no visible problems.

Left Lane: Tom Padilla Runs 7.413/184.98, Now #3
Right Lane: Kyle Hough Runs 6.856/190.86, Now #1

Padillla had a clean sweep last weekend, in Salt Lake City.

Padilla two-stepped the launch and used up a lot of his lane. Hough's run was relatively straight, but the car appeared to be on a collision course with the finish line reflectors. He missed them, by inches, with the quickest run of the session.
