CONCORD, N.C. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Extreme Pro Stock at the American Drag Racing League, ADRL Dragstock IX:

3:28 p.m. Both cars shook and got sideways, Stevens recovered and finished the run, Dobbins did not make the attempt.

Montecalvo left first, but ran into shake almost immediately and lost a lot of time in the first 330 feet.

Both shook, both pedaled, both pedaled again. Bertsch's car got very sideways, way over toward the wall, and Deflorian ot hooked up sooner on the recovery.

Same story here, both drivers were battling shake immediately. Hoerner recovered quickly and Pluchino threw in the towel.

Berner shook and lifted. Schorr made a clean run, with no visible problems. He will have lane choice against Hoerner in round two.

Morton's car shook and made a right turn, almost crossing the centerline. Meanwhile, Goforth was enroute to the quickest run of the round, winning easily. Goforth will face Deflorian in the quarterfinals.

Once again both cars shook, but Eman recovered first, his car trailing smoke all the way to the stripe. The track crew too a long look at his lane before the final pair fired their engines. Eman races Gahm in the quarters, Gahm has lane choice.

Bealko's car shook, turned right, and he took out the 330-foot marker. Penland made a good run, no visible problems. Penland will have lane choice against Stevens in round two.
