Rain Interrupts Sunday Racing
By Larry Sullivan

ROCKINGHAM, N.C. - 1:42 p.m. Just as the first pair of Super Rod cars pulled through the water for Round 3 Eliminations, a light mist started to fall.

The mist stopped briefly and the tractor started massaging the track, but slightly heavier rain followed and the cars that were in the lanes were sent back to the pits to wait this one out.

The weather radar doesn't look promising, with lots of green and yellow right at the state line just south of here.

We are on hold and will let you know when the situation changes.
